Olia TAYEB CHERIF

Research Fellow – Financing the agricultural transition

Olia joined I4CE‘s Agriculture and Forestry programme in June 2024. Her work focuses on public financing of the agri-food system. The aim is to analyse how public policies can contribute to the environmental transition and adaptation of agriculture to climate change. Her current research focuses on regionally administered support schemes and their links with the national level.

Prior to joining I4CE, Olia worked for several think tanks (IDDRI, FARM Foundation) and a public administration (FranceAgriMer). There she carried out research and consultancy work on the economics and governance of agricultural sectors at French and international level.

Olia holds an agricultural engineering degree from ENSAIA, with a specialisation in human and social sciences for ecosystem management (AgroParisTech).
